Społeczna Inicjatywa Narkopolityki (Social Drug Policy Initiative) is a non-profit organization providing harm reduction services and education for change towards evidence-based drug policy.


Społeczna Inicjatywa Narkopolityki

SIN was formed as a network of science clubs at universities, which unites youth, students and academic staff who want to change the prohibition based drug policy in Poland and around the world. The initiative is in dedicated to drug policy reform based on scientific evidence and principles of respect for human freedom and dignity.

Warsaw University

  • The SIN scientific club at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the Corvinus University in Budapest is involved in the evaluation of the harm reduction program in nightlife conditions, including substance testing.

Jagiellonian University

  • The SIN scientific club at the Jagiellonian University deals with an interdisciplinary analysis of the language used in trip-reports.

 

SIN Lab and Prekursor

  • SIN and Foundation Prekursor working with Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology and the National Institute of Medicines received funding from the National Health Program. In July 2017, we will gather 250 pilot samples. For time being, we are working on an analytical method effective in polish conditions.
